The topic of Pat's talk will be:
What will the Midlands be like in 2040?
The Central Midlands Council of Government forecasts that our population will grow by 450,000 people over the next 30 years. Patrick Mason, will brief us over lunch on Thursday, February 20th, about the Urban Land Institute, Reality Check, a process that involved 300 Midlands Citizens last October, to identify and rank guiding principles for growth.
Our objective is to inform citizens and enroll them in the visioning process of growing by choice, not by chance.
